The Platinum #3776 Century Fountain Pen - Shiun (Limited Edition) is an exclusive Japanese fountain pen from the Fuji Shunkei Series and represents the fourth edition in this collection. The name “Shiun” means purple clouds. In Japanese tradition, purple clouds have long been regarded as an auspicious sign. Platinum translates this imagery into a refined design inspired by clouds surrounding Mount Fuji and coloring the landscape in shades of purple.

The transparent purple body is made from AS resin and finished with a complex faceted pattern. These facets evoke thin layers of clouds and create depth and light refraction, reminiscent of sunlight breaking through clouds and reaching the earth. The crown of the pen features a special detail in the shape of Mount Fuji, surrounded by purple tones.

The pen is fitted with a 14 karat gold nib with rhodium plating. The #3776 Century Shiun is equipped with Platinum’s patented Slip & Seal mechanism, which provides an airtight seal and helps prevent the ink from drying out, even when the pen is not used for long periods.

Each Shiun belongs to a limited edition of only 3,776 pieces worldwide, a reference to the height of Mount Fuji. The individual serial number is engraved on the back of the cap. The cap band is finished with a special etching technique that gives the Platinum logo a rich, three-dimensional effect.

The pen is filled using Platinum cartridges or a converter. Both a chrome-plated converter and a Blue Black cartridge are included.
