The design was directed by Sonya Park, founder and creative director of ARTS & SCIENCE, a Japanese lifestyle and fashion brand. Compared to the Japanese Hobonichi Original, this book has been refined and simplified, making it easy to use worldwide regardless of language or country. The pages are printed in charcoal gray and red, offering plenty of space to fill with writing and clippings. The book is designed to be paired with a cover of your choice.

The A6 size of 105 x 148 mm (approximately 4 x 6 inches) is lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry and use anytime, anywhere. This Techo Planner shares the same size as the Japanese Techo Original, allowing both books to use the same covers.

The thin and light Tomoe River paper is strong, resistant to ink bleeding, and allows ink to flow smoothly across the page — an ideal choice for a planner.

The design of the book is truly unique. Notable design elements include: special stitch-binding that allows the planner to lay completely flat without needing to hold it down; rounded page corners to minimize creasing and damage when carried around or stored in a bag; and serial numbers printed on the inside back cover that give each planner a unique identity, making your planner your own personal and special book.
