Leuchtturm1917 revives the Drehgriffel from the 1920s. The name "Drehgriffel" is a German compound noun that translates directly to "twist stylus" — a writing instrument that operates with a twist mechanism.
The distinctive design makes this writing instrument truly stand out: a hexagonal barrel with a pointed tip, both featuring contrasting colors. The Drehgriffel is crafted from precision-milled aluminum and brass, painted, and sealed for durability. It features a spring-loaded twist mechanism.
The Drehgriffel is 13 cm long and comes with a blue refill (document-proof ink according to ISO 15727-2). Available in a variety of colors and, of course, compatible with a Leuchtturm1917 pen loop.
