Start fresh this spring with the Hobonichi Weeks April Start planner! This Weeks features artwork from Tomie, the debut work and one of the best-known creations of horror manga artist Junji Ito. The illustrations are based on original artwork and bring his world to life nearly forty years after his debut in 1987. The Tomie - Haunting Beauty Weeks shows an illusory version of Tomie, born from the admiration of a young girl. On the matte black cover, the illustration is printed in glossy silk screen, creating a subtle contrast in texture. The illustration is taken from the chapter Tomie: Hair and is built up with fine dot shading and transparent ink layers. This highlights Tomie’s long black hair and the signature beauty mark beneath her left eye. On the back, a scene is depicted in which a girl discovers a bundle of hair in a paulownia box. The shine of Tomie’s hair is finished with gold foil.

This Japanese weekly-edition Hobonichi Techo is a compact book starts in April 2026 and is easy to carry everywhere.

The book is slim and roughly the size of a long wallet, making it easy to fit into a bag or suit pocket. The main layout of the book consists of a weekly calendar on the left page and blank graph paper on the right page. Each weekly spread also contains the characteristic Hobonichi quote on the bottom of the page. Although slim at first glance, the book holds 71 graph-ruled memo pages for note-taking at the end of the book. The Weeks is available with a variety of different cover designs on the book itself and does not require an additional cover purchased separately.

This is the Japanese edition of the Weeks. It has the same layout as the English version, with all dates, days of the week, daily quotes and bonus pages at the back in Japanese.
